Allynne Cheever Obituary (1944 - 2025)

Allynne Elizabeth Cheever was born to Frank Levi Terrel and Erma Marguerite (Strahan) Terrel, December 26, 1944. On June 13th, 2025, Allynne went to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the heavenly place He has prepared for her. Allynne is survived by the love of her life, Neal Cheever, her sister, Darnell Stierwalt, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born and raised in Alton, IL and as a young adult, she journeyed to Oklahoma and made it her home. Although, she held several positions, including carpentry, waitressing and being a field engineer with Xerox. She took pride in taking care of her family and it brought her great joy. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, board games, music, dancing, antiquing and especially quilting. Her driving force in all she did was bringing glory to God. Through His example and unconditional love, she was the glue of our family, an inspiration, best friend and guiding light to every person she touched. Family was so important to her, She cherished her five daughters, four sons-in-law, nineteen grand grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren tremendously. Daughters are Elizabeth “Beth” and Trent McBride, Michele Denton, Stephanie Desjarlais and John Scott, Jamie and Brian Burris, and Sherri and Wade Nance, and Dawnita Campbell. Grandchildren include; Daniel Denton (Nichole), Stacey Hoffman (Matt), John Alan Chandler, Chance Desjarlais (Kara), Jacob Day, Mariah Kimball (Bryant), Devin Denton (Chris), Moira Spencer (Matt), Brooklyn Burk (Jason), Cruz Desjarlais, Cierra Davis (Dejuan), Chase Burris (Grace), Payton Scott, Garrett Day, Paris Nance, Madison Burris (Josh), Jacoby Nance, Levi McBride, Jase Nance, Daelynd Campbell, and Dawsynn Campbell. Accompanied by a large group of great-grandchildren. The viewing will be held Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 from 6-8pm at Dillon Funeral Service, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Celebration of Life Services will be held Thursday, June 19th, 2025 at 1pm, at Olivet Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside services following at Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dillon Funeral Service.
