Berta Patrick

–

Tulsa, Oklahoma

It is with both sorrow and joy that we share the passing of Berta Marie Lindsey Patrick, who left this world to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Holy Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was 84 years old and passed away surrounded by family as her granddaughter, Rebecca, read passages from the Bible.

Berta was born on January 11, 1942, in Newby, Oklahoma, to James Maurice and Ann Arzona Lindsey. She grew up in Newby with her siblings, James, Bill, and Mary, and attended Central High School in downtown Tulsa.

On December 22, 1958, she married Charles Daniel Patrick. Together they had two sons, Charles Daniel and Rodney Joe. Following the tragic passing of her husband in 1971, Berta dedicated her life to Jesus Christ. This transformative faith led her to evangelize to many friends and family members throughout her life. She was a devoted member of Century Cathedral Church for decades and cherished the memory of her pilgrimage to Jerusalem, where she was baptized in the River Jordan.

Beyond her faith, Berta was a successful small business owner with a passion for antiques and interior decorating. She was known for her impeccable style, especially during the holidays. Above all, she treasured time with her family. She is survived and deeply loved by her sons, Charles Daniel Patrick Jr. (Angela) and Rodney Joe Patrick (Erin), as well as her 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Berta will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
