Bobby Edward Sullivan, affectionately known to many as Peepaw, of Sand Springs, OK went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the early hours of Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Bobby was born in Tupelo, MS on November 13, 1931, to Henry Edward and Etta Mae Sullivan.
He and his family moved to the Sand Springs area when he was in fourth grade and that’s where he attended school until he graduated from Charles Page High School in 1950. Bob honored his country by serving in the US Army from 1952 to 1956 and then the Oklahoma National Guard from 1956 to 1960. He continued serving his country when he went to work for the US Postal Service, where he worked for 30 years, until retiring in 1990. Bob spent most of his adult life in Ministry, preaching the gospel as a Pastor and Evangelist to all who would listen. He was an inspiration and mentor to many, and a Godly example, right up to the very end of his life.
Bob is survived by his 4 children… Son Eddie Sullivan and Wife Sue; Son Michael Dan Sullivan and Wife Cathy; Daughter Gay Sparka; and Daughter Jill Westbrook and Husband Danny. Peepaw had 21 Grand Children, 30 Great Grand Children and 5 Great Great Grand Children. He also leaves behind the many individuals who cared for him at the Live Oak Senior Care home, where he lived for the last 4 years. A special thanks to his unofficially adopted daughter Linda Derks.
He is proceeded in rest by his Father Henry and Mother Etta Mae, Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Also, his Wife and Ministry Partner of 52 years, Gertrude Sullivan.
