Brandi Kannmore

–

Afton, Oklahoma

Brandi Joanne Kannmore, age 41, passed away on August 14, 2025, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born on November 27, 1983, in Vinita, Oklahoma. Brandi was known by many as a vibrant, outgoing, and joyful soul—the heart of her family—who never met a stranger and could connect with just about anyone. She was “Mom” to many, whether she gave birth to them or not, and she loved deeply, with her whole heart. Anyone who knew her can attest to the immense love she gave and the light she brought into their lives.

Brandi had an unwavering devotion to her family and would go to any length to ensure they felt supported and loved. She was her mother’s best friend and a fiercely dedicated mom to her three children. Like many in her family, she was a talented cook and a determined, hardworking woman who could take on just about any task she set her mind to. Always willing to lend a hand, Brandi was fearless in many aspects of life—but her greatest fear was not being there for her children, her mother, her brother, and her sister. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, where her laughter and warmth made every gathering special.

Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Hildegard Maria (Mohler) Kannmore; paternal grandmother, Sue Pope; father, Rick Pope; her uncle, William “Billy” Kannmore; and other aunts and uncles on her father’s side.

She is survived by a large and loving family who will carry on her memory: her grandfather, Vernis William Kannmore; her mother, Michelle Kannmore; her brother, Ross Hayes, and sister, Katy Hayes, along with their families; her beloved children, Courtney Hanes, Caleb Hanes, and Ethan Hanes.

Brandi is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins—most of whom knew her affectionately as “Aunt B.” She loved them all unconditionally.

Brandi also had a deep affection for animals, a trait she inherited from her mother and grandmother, who never turned away a stray. She leaves behind her beloved fur-baby Daisy, whose companionship meant the world to her.

Family was everything to Brandi—but so was chosen family. She welcomed many others into her heart as brothers, sisters, and children, forming lifelong bonds rooted in love, not blood. Her generous spirit and fierce loyalty left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service to celebrate Brandi’s life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Oklahoma.

May the memory of Brandi Joanne Kannmore be a comfort to all who knew her and a lasting reminder of a life filled with compassion, strength, laughter, and love.
