Cecil Watkins

Cecil Leonard Watkins was born in Coweta, OK on August 14, 1930 to Elmer and Arnie Watkins. He passed away on August 18, 2022.

Cecil was raised in Lost City and later moved to Mannford, OK then Tulsa, OK. He served in the United States Army and worked at Flint Steel Corporation. He loved music, woodworking and was known for being a "jack-of-all-trades".

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Carolyn Graham and his son, Randy Watkins.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; four children, Terry Wayne Wright and wife, Danett of Republic, Missouri, Michael Joe Wright and wife, Robin of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Sherri Lynn Martin and husband, Jimmy of Marlow, Oklahoma and DJ Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, and three great great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Crossroads Full Gospel, 1310 W. 49th Street, Tulsa, OK with Pastor Erick Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, OK. Services are under the direction of Dillon Funeral Service. Condolences may be shared at www.dilloncares.com
