Christopher Wilson

Christopher Lawrence Wilson, born on October 16, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was welcomed into the arms of his savior on March 3, 2025. He lived a life of faith, love, and service.

Chris was the beloved husband of Edwina for 42 years and a devoted father to Tamara Boyles (Rick), Michael Wilson (Julie), Russell Cravens (Jeanie), and Sara Thomas (Trevor). He was a proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 10 great - grandchildren. He was survived by his brother Todd Wilson (Laurie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Dean and Betsy Wilson, brother Kim Wilson, grandson David, and great - grandson Mordeccai.

A man of unwavering faith, Chris served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Children's Interim Minister at Angus Church in Sand Springs for 37 years, often working alongside Edwina in ministry. He found joy in serving others, whether at church, in his career in retail management, or in everyday life.

Chris had a lifelong love for various sports, a sharp mind for numbers, and a passion for running - competing in races even after brain tumor surgery in 2022. Later in life, he enjoyed gardening, trading stocks, watching Thunder basketball, and spending time with his family.

Chris Wilson's life was marked by faith, love, and devotion to family. His impact will live on in those who knew him.
