Darren Dwain Sanders Obituary (1959

Darren Dwain Sanders, age 53 formally of Tulsa, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Cleveland. Darren was born on November 12, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma to Earnest Noland and Mable (Cozad) Sanders. He graduated from Allen High School and went to Okmulgee Tech getting his certificate in Auto Body. Darren married Theresa Sanders in July 1982. He divorced and married Peggy Sue Holt on October 17, 1988 and the couple lived in Tulsa. Darren worked for Hissom and later the L.E. Rader Correctional Detention Center. He retired after serving in several positions in his career, Certified Nurses Aid, Resident Life Staff Aid 4 and Cottage Supervisor. Darren loved building his home and working on redoing guns was his passion on earth and to be with God upon his death. He is survived by his wife Peggy Sue Sanders of the home, mother Mable Peck, daughters; Cari Lynn Arthur and husband William of Catoosa, Ashleigh Renea Sanders and boyfriend Christopher Bettis of Asher, Jenny Renee Sanders of Okmulgee, step-daughter Melinda Sue Wheatley and husband Roy of Georgia and step-son; Anthony Mark Lutz and wife Deanna of Broken Arrow, two brothers Noland Paul Sanders and wife Deana of Konawa and Terry Lynn Sanders of Ada. Granddaughter; Heidi Lynn Arthur, step-grandchildren; Tia Wheatley, Mia Glenn, David Wheatley, Stephanie Walsh, Roy Wheatley Jr., Dillon Christopher Wheatley, Dustin Wheatley and Nichole Lynn Lutz. Preceded in death by his father Earnest Noland Sanders and a step-son Sgt. David Lowell Glenn.
