David Phillip Badgwell

David Phillip Badgwell, III was born on April 12, 1984 to David Badgwell, Jr and Sabrina Gant in Tulsa, OK. He graduated from Cleveland High School and the University of Phoenix with an Associates Degree. He was a New Car Sales Manager for Mark Allen Chevrolet in Glenpool, OK and was an Army Veteran having served two tours of duty during the Iraq War.

David died a hero. He saved his family from an early morning fire at their home in Cleveland, OK on the morning of October 23.

David was preceded in death by his step-mother, Susan Badgwell; grandfathers, David Phillip Badgwell, Sr., Richard Gant; and grandmother, Eula Mae Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie (Reno) Badgwell and their children, Lailea, Kayden and McKenzie; father, David Badgwell, Jr.; mother, Sabrina Wright (Brian); brothers, Jon Badgwell, Corey Strickland (Samantha), Brian Wright (Marissa), and Cameron Wright; sister, Shelby Strickland; grandmother, Dorothy Badgwell and numerous extended family and friends.

David was a jokester who lit up every room he entered. He was a loving father and husband. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for David will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Cleveland Event Center, 324 No. Gilbert Ave., Cleveland, OK. Condolences for David's family may be left at www.dilloncares.com
