Delores Ella Marie Sutterfield was born on September 19, 1932 to Earl and Clara Brown in Tulsa, OK. Delores was a cashier at various department stores and cafeterias. She retired as an accounting assistant from CE-NATCO. Upon retirement, she worked in home healthcare. She was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School.\r\n\r\nShe married the love of her life, Dale Sutterfield, in 1956. She was a self-described 'people person'. She thoroughly enjoyed attending the events at the senior adult center in Terlton, OK where her homemade pies were always a hit. She resided in Sand Springs for two decades and spent her final two years in The Gardens Assisted Living Center in Sapulpa. \r\n\r\nShe was a faithful Christian and committed member of Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church in Jenks.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include a daughter Lorrie Carey, and husband Doug of Tulsa; a daughter Susan Collins, and husband Phil of Tulsa; Grandchildren Brandi Fain and husband Archie, Christian Carey and wife Danielle, Caleb Collins, Jacob Carey and 5 Great Grandchildren.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her son Tom, her parents, brothers and other family members. \r\n\r\nDelores will be greatly missed by her family, friends and acquaintances.
