'Forever Loved, Never Forgotten'\r\r\n\r\r\nDewey Raymond Turney Jr. was born on September 9th, 1944 to Dewey R. Turney, Sr. and Thelma Christine Corn Turney in the peaceful community of Morris OK. He and his pretty baby Sister, Carol Ann were very close and dearly loved by Dewey and Thelma. They raised them in the friendly Prattville, OK community where everyone knew everybody.\r\r\n\r\r\nJunior, as he was so affectionately nicknamed was known as the 'Nice Guy' and Carol Ann, the 'Ornery One!' They both attended Charles Paige High School with Junior graduating in 1962. He loved playing on the Baseball Team as their left handed fast pitcher and agile first baseman. \r\r\n\r\r\nShortly, after high school graduation, he was compelled to enlist in the U.S. Air Force on September 16, 1964. He was stationed at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, TX. He achieved E-4 Sergeant Ranking and received the following Awards:\r\r\n\r\r\nNDSM- National Defense Service Medal\r\r\nAFGCM- Air Force Good Conduct Medal \r\r\nAFOUA- Air Force Outstanding Unit Award \r\r\n\r\r\nAfter, Sergeant Turney, Jr.'s service and honor to our great Country, he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier until he retired. \r\r\n\r\r\nCarol Ann and Husband Dennis E. Frailey, Family and close friends will forever cherish Juniors funny, dry humor, 'Good Guy' Personality and kind ways. He will be remembered by all for his great love and hobby of Antique cars, especially his very own Red, hard top, 1939 Ford Coupe.
