Don Hall, 77 of Tulsa (Berryhill), Oklahoma passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at a Tulsa hospital. He was born July 24, 1939 in Pryor, Oklahoma, a son of the late Charles Goldie Hall and Lottie Easterly Hall. He married the love of his life, Karen Sue Rogers on April 18, 1964 and they were currently residing in Berryhill, Oklahoma. Don was a retired Quality Engineer for Boeing after 24 years of service. He served as a Staff Sargent in the United States Air National Guard, was a Free Mason, a member of the View Acres Baptist Church and a graduate of Sand Springs High School in 1957.
Don Hall was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
As a father, he sacrificed much in order to provide, protect and prepare his children for life. He was an amazing baseball player throughout his school days and taught his children and grandchildren how to play as well, but with ball practice always came life lessons. Life lessons also came in the form of fishing and hunting stories as well. Dad wanted us to understand the world and to be prepared for all situations. But most of all, he always made sure we knew that he loved us unconditionally and stood beside us through all of life's trials, cheering us on and picking us up and at times carrying us when we were discouraged and defeated. His love for family was unwavering and he is greatly loved, adored and missed by us all.
Don is survived by his wife, Karen Hall of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and Jon Ratzlaff of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Kay Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Mary Hall of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law, Joy Hall of Dallas, Texas and Peggy Self of Prairie Grove, Arkansas ; eight Grandchildren, Justin Godwin, Jenifer & Joe Butler, Jacob Hall, Jasmine Ratzlaff, Kaylin Hall, Sophia Ratzlaff, and Gabriella Ratzlaff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lottie Hall, brother, Wayne Hall and sisters, Goldie Hall-Bohot and Kathy Williams.
