Edna M. Copeland, age 68 of Sand Springs, left this world and went to be with her dear Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. \r\r\n \r\r\nEdna was born on June 24, 1942 in Columbia, South Carolina to Charles Hubber and Dalia (Dowey) McLeod. She graduated from Toccoa Falls High School in Georgia in 1960 and Tennessee Temple Bible College and Tulsa Junior College in 1992 .She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a Respiratory Therapist at St. Francis Hospital prior to her retiring. Edna also loved to interpret for the deaf, especially at church. She was willing to share her knowledge in the word of God and with others on a daily basis. She loved to write poetry and spent every chance she could playing her children and grandchildren. She was always willing to help anyone even if it meant going without. Her strength came from the Lord. \r\r\n \r\r\nShe is survived by her sister Rose Davis and husband Woody of North Carolina, brothers Hubert McLeod and wife Caroline of South Carolina, five children Rose Salazar of Tulsa and Kay Fulfer and husband Scott of Springdale, Arkansas, John Copeland III and wife Ashton of Sand Springs, Amy Copeland of Sand Springs and Jeremy Weaver of Sand Springs, Timothy Joel Copeland and wife Cristi of Sand Springs. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren April, Jeremiah, Amber, Josh Salazar, Spencer, Quincy, Landon, Brock, Chase Fulfer, Adriana, Journey, Zoe Weaver and Winter Copeland and four great-grandchildren Micah and Farous Craig , Paxton and Miah Rose Salazar. \r\r\n \r\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dalia McLeod. \r\r\n \r\r\nFuneral Services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., April 11, 2011 at Grace Community Fellowship Church at 762 E. Charles Page Blvd in Sand Springs with Dr. Alex Campbell and Dr. Larry Tolbert officiating.
