Emma Wilson

Emma Darlene Wilson (Tedrick)entered her eternal home peacefully in the presents of her Lord and Savior Jesus on May 7th, 2025 at her home with her family by her side in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Darlene was born on April 29th, 1927 in Krebs, Oklahoma to Charles and Alice Tedrick. Darlene was a single mother to six children which she made a loving home for them in Vinita, Oklahoma. While raising her children in Vinita, she worked for many years as a waitress at the Glass House Restaurant. Darlene met and married James Wilson and became a team truck driver with her husband for many years. After they retired, and making their home in Sand Springs, OK, Darlene felt a need to continue to serve her community and became a school bus driver for many years. When she retired for the second time, Darlene crafted her sewing skills and created quilts and made clothes for her family. Darlene was a member of the Metro Pentecostal Church for 23 years she loved Jesus and loved attending church. Her survivors include her five daughters, Virginia Charles and husband Alvin of Sand Springs, OK; Scarlett Adams of Collinsville, OK; Mary Burton of Sapulpa, OK; Camilla Surber of Sand Springs, OK; Barbara Conner of Sand Springs, OK; eighteen grandchildren, Mark Charles and wife Cindy of Sand Springs, OK, Melinda Whitaker and husband Steve of Sand Springs, OK, David Charles and wife Brandy of Sand Springs, OK, Corinna Charles Gunter and husband Rick of Skiatook, OK, Gary Stacy and wife Sheri of Collinsville, OK, Kelley Stacy and Shelly Cobb of Anahuac, Texas, Jayson Stacy and wife Stephanie of Skiatook, OK, Heath Stacy and wife Carmen of Glenpool, OK, Nick Booth of Apple Valley, MN, Rebecca Cook and husband Steve of Sapulpa, OK, Amanda Burton of Bristow, OK, Johnna Martin of Sand Springs, OK, Angel Adams of Mounds, OK, Jammie Kern and husband Chris of Sand Springs, OK, Mindy Adams of Sand Springs, OK, Jimmy Adams, Jr. and wife Amanda of Tulsa, OK, Troy Robertson and fiance Suzanne Richardson of Sand Springs, OK and Shawnda Robertson wife of Jarrod Robertson; fifty six great-grandchildren; fifty five great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by; Husband; James Wilson; Son; Walter Booth; Step-Son; Doug Wilson; Grandson; Jarrod Robertson; Son In-Laws; Larry Adams and Duane Conner.

Viewing for Emma Darlene Wilson will be held on Sunday, May 11th, 2025 at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dillon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 12th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Metro Pentecostal Church located at 5925 E. 51st St. Tulsa, OK 74135 with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
