Fran Everson, 78 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 23, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Arque Jones and Edith Mae Talley Jones. Fran was a former insurance clerk for some 30+ years and was a homemaker.\r\r\n\r\r\nFran was a huge animal lover of all kinds. She loved feeding the birds and squirrels as she would watch them in their natural habitat. She loved to square dance, loved to read, and really enjoyed traveling.\r\r\n\r\r\nFran is survived by her husband of 33 years, Al Everson of the home; one daughter, Tamara Taylor and husband Kevin of Neodesha, Kansas; three step-children, Donald Martin Everson, Nicolette Ann Jones and Corwin Dean Everson; five grandchildren, Megan Cates, Brittany Parker, Tiffany McGuire, Cheyenne Ragsdale and Tyler Taylor; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Dwight Jones and one sister, Vicky Gillen.\r\r\n\r\r\nA Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Dighton Marler Dillon Funeral Home Chapel at Woodland Memorial Park, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, OK 74063. \r\r\n\r\r\nThe family has requested memorials be made in Fran's honor to a Humane Society of your choice.
