Frederick Allan Caudle
January 26, 1952 – October 23, 2025

Frederick “Fred” Allan Caudle, 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2025. Born on January 26, 1952, in Bristow, Oklahoma. Fred lived a life defined by service, faith, and love for his family and community. Most who knew him called him “Freddy”.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Kimberly Elizabeth Caudle; his daughter Jennifer Grace Caudle Bussell and her husband Travis Allen Bussell; his cherished grandson Hunter Allan and soon-to-arrive granddaughter Hope Elizabeth; and his sister Letha Grace Caudle. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick and Effie Dorothy Caudle, and his daughter, Sandra D. Caudle.

Fred met the love of his life, Kimberly, while working as a Tulsa Auxiliary Police Officer, and the two were married in Las Vegas on May 14, 1982. Together they built a beautiful life full of laughter, faith, and family—celebrating 43 wonderful years of marriage.

A man of deep honor and integrity, Fred lived to serve others. He began his military career in 1971, joining the Army National Guard’s 45th Thunderbird Infantry Brigade as an Artillery Officer. Through dedication and leadership, he rose through the ranks, ultimately retiring as a Major after proudly serving his country—including deployment during Operation Desert Storm and time spent in Germany. Serving his country in the Army was one of his greatest honors, and he carried that sense of duty and pride throughout his life.

Fred also devoted his life to serving his local community as a firefighter. He joined the Tulsa Fire Department in 1978, where he courageously served for 28 years before retiring in 2006. Even after retirement, Fred continued to work as a firefighter and paramedic, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to helping others. His passion for firefighting extended to the Texas Motor Speedway, where he proudly served as a NASCAR firefighter for more than 12 years.

Fred’s life was filled with simple joys and cherished traditions. He loved attending the Caudle Family Reunions. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, and spending his Saturday nights at Eddy’s Steakhouse—where laughter and love always filled the table. Above all, Fred treasured his role as “Husband”, “Father,” and “Papa,” titles that brought him endless pride and happiness.

Fred had a passion for collecting fire and police patches, fishing, watching NASCAR, and his favorite show, NCIS. He also worked at the dog show as a paramedic and found great joy in teaching at Tulsa Tech, where he shared his knowledge and experience with others.

Fred will be remembered for his strength, humility, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. His legacy of service and love will live on in all who were blessed to have known him.
