Garrett Beckner

Garrett Tyler Beckner, age 15, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Sapulpa.

Garrett was born on February 16, 1997 in Tulsa to Arnold J. Beckner and Lilah (Johnson) Foresman. He was a student at Union 8th grade Center and was enrolled in the Junior ROTC program; Garrett was on the Honor Roll and tried to never miss a day of school. He loved to work on cell phones and fix them and loved working on cars with his dad.

He is survived by his father Arnold J. Beckner & wife Sarah Evans of Sand Springs, mother Lilah (Johnson) Foreman of Tulsa, brother Joey Lester Foresman Jr.,step-brother Mickean Evans, paternal grandfather Jack Beckner, grandmother Sandra (Nanna) Evans of Sand Springs, maternal grandparents John William Johnson Sr, of Tahlequah and Barbara Nauman & step grandfather Robert of Sapulpa, aunts & Uncles Lynne Kearney, Priscella Metzer, Simoline Key & husband Jason, John Johnson Jr and eleven cousins and two very close friends Christopher Randell and John Randall.

Garrett was preceded in death by his aunt Corinna Johnson and Uncle Brian Beckner.
