Georgann Busch Obituary (1936

Georgann was born in Tulsa, Ok to George Leeper and Sarah Elizabeth (Hurst) Leeper. Her family lived on the line, where she attended Riley Elemetary School, before moving to Sand Springs. She attended Central Junior High and Sand Springs High School, where she graduated with the class of '55. The class of '55 remained close after high school and had reunions quite frequently up until 2019. Georgann was happily and actively in charge of these reunions which included dinner, dancing, and auctions. She loved her classmates! Her career started at Vern Tag Agency, and continued to Sun Oil Co, where she retired after many years. Most people know of her from her many years at K-Mart and Walgreens in Sand Springs. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very active in their lives. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She made blankets and booties for many people. Georgann was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in October 2018 and fought a courageous fight. Georgann was preceded in death by her father George Leeper and mother Sarah (Hurst) Leeper, brother Darrel Hobson, and son Steven Eugene Busch. Georgann is survived by her two daughters and three grandchildren. Including Tami (Busch) Rundle and husband Kelly Rundle of Tulsa, Shelli (Busch) Mackey and husband Larry Mackey of Mannford; grandchildren Megan Mackey and Bryan Barrett, Kristin Raymer and Jordan Raymer, and Justin Mackey, all of Tulsa; and one sister, Judy (Gearin) Melton of Burbank, Ca.
