Georgia E. Grieves

Georgia Ellen Grieves, 98 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 21, 1918 in Prue, Oklahoma to the late Daisy B. Kurtze Toothman and J. O. Toothman. She later married the late William Jackson Grieves, Sr..

Georgia is a retired Real Estate Agent of over 20 years and was a longstanding member of the Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs. She was a Masonic Lodge Member and was the Royal Matron in 1960; a member of the Good Sam Club; and a member of the Real Estate Association of Oklahoma.

Survivors include granddaughter, Melissa Grubbs of Yucaipa, California; Grandson Phillip Grieves and wife Beth of Yucaipa, California; Granddaughter, Renee Holloway and husband Johnny of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Granddaughter, Deborah Flynn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandson, William Jackson Grieves, III and wife Patricia of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Grandson, Michael Flynn and wife Carolyn of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Grandson, David Flynn of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Great grandchildren, Steven Holloway and wife Amanda of Yukon, Oklahoma; Whitney Holloway and fianc Brian Tilley of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Billy Grieves, William Grieves, Presley Grieves, Brooklyn Grieves and Levi Grieves all of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Corbin and Millie Flynn of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jackson Grubbs of Yucaipa, California; Daniel and David Grieves of Yucaipa, California.

Great-great grandchildren Morgan, Logan and Kylie Holloway; Dailey Jennings of Yukon, Oklahoma; Zoe and Abby Price of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Quinn Tilley of Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Georgia is preceded in death by her husband, William J Grieves Sr.; son, William J Grieves Jr.; son, Phillip Gerald Grieves Sr.; daughter, Carolyn Sue Flynn; granddaughter, Elizabeth M Grieves; grandson, Jeffrey Grieves; brothers, Purl, Noah, Otto and Carl Toothman; sisters, Hazel Tucker, Clara Beavers, Osa Bell Horton and Lillie Jean Horton.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Broadway Baptist Church, 1000 N. Adams Road, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
