The family eventually moved to Beggs, Ok. where he graduated High School. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1958 and served 4 years active duty... where he traveled the world! All the way from Salina, KS to Abilene, TX!!
After discharge from the Air Force his first civilian job was for Youngstown Steel in Tulsa for the next 5 years. Over the next few years Glenn worked for Republic Steel, then on to Lone Star Steel in Dallas. Bovaird Supply recruited him and moved him back to Tulsa where he spent the next 15 years. He eventually worked for Bethlehem Supply and then Hilti Industries where he retired in 2001. Please note that all the above companies are now out of business as the US steel industry began to close.
During most of this period he was also and active member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard, 138th Fighter wing. He retired from the guard in 1993 after 24 years of service. He was such a patriot and so proud to wear the uniform of the United States of America.
He was also proud of his Indian heritage and so proud to pass that his heritage on to his family.
His love and priorities though out his life was so absolutely GOD, COUNTRY AND FAMILY.
