Irvin Davey Palm Jr.

Irvin Davey Palm Jr, 70 of Haskell passed from this life December 26. 2016. Davey was born August 30, 1946 to I.D. Sr. and Margarette Palm. Davey was living at the Haskell Manor Nursing Home at his time of death. He had graduated from Bishop Kelley High School and then attended Boston College School of Law. While at Boston College he served as President of the Black Law Student Association.
He was awarded a Bachelor Degree from Xavier University in 1969. Prior to studying mathematics at Xavier he attended Creighton University where he was Vice President of his Freshman and Sophomore classes.
Mr. Palm had worked as a corporate attorney for Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company for many years. Services will be held in the Chapel of Dighton Marler Dillon Funeral Home, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Woodland Memorial Park, 1200 North Cleveland in Sand Springs.
Davey is Survived by two daughters, Tracy Christina Palm Sade of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Megan Elizbeth Palm Peterson of Jenks; one sister, Patricia Palm Dorsey, of Chicago, Illinois; five Grandchildren, Eric Peterson, Jordan Palm, Caleb Peterson, Nathan T. Sade and Nevaeh Sade. He is also survived by Jerry Goodwin, Anna Goodwin, Davey Goodwin, Jeanne Goodwin,
Joseph Goodwin, William "Chip" Dorsey, Jon Dorsey, and Steve
Dorsey.
He was preceded in death by One sister: Vivian Goodwin and
his parents: I.D. and Margarette Palm.
