James Dodge Jr.

James Harold Dodge, Jr., a treasured husband, stepfather, and brother, passed away on February 9, 2026. Born on May 1, 1952, in Henryetta, OK, to James Harold Dodge, Sr. and Nettie Margaret (Pierce) Dodge, he enriched the lives of all those around him with his vivacious spirit and humor. James embodied this sentiment, bringing joy and laughter into every room he entered and leaving an indelible impact on everyone he met.

James was a devoted employee at Liberty Glass where he served as a supervisor and was highly respected by his colleagues. His diligent work ethic was matched only by his love for OU Football, a hobby that brought him immense joy. James was also a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam era.

James leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon Dodge, his stepsons, Randy Wheeler, Jr. and Richie Fisher, his sisters, Betty Trope and Patsy Peterson, and his brother-in-law Al Trope. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nettie Dodge.

Visitation will be held at Dillon Funeral Service, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, 74063, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 5:00pm CST. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 2:00pm CST.
