James Eugene Redfearn was born July 16, 1928 in Gideon, Oklahoma to Ulysses Sidney \r\nGrant Redfearn and Olive Reatha Redfearn. James was 1 of 21 children: Willard Moore, Sidney W. Grant, Ruby Angelina, Paul William, Effie Anges, Silas Leroy, Emma Louise, Billy Ray, Fannie Mae, Floyd-died at birth, Elmer Grant, Annie Bell, Fred, Edith, Baby boy, Oscar, Baby boy, Dovie Jewell, Edna Mae.\r\n\r\nJames is survived by his children: JImmy Redfearn and Dian Watson. Grandchildren: Jeremiah Watson, Robert Watson, Caitlyn Tyler, Grant Redfearn and John Mark Redfearn. Great grandchildren: Gracie Watson, Mackenzie Watson, Lorelei Tyler and Henry Tyler.\r\n\r\nJames was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Mannford, OK. He was a Sunday School teacher, helped in Bible School, sang in a quartet, helped with the Brotherhood and helped build houses for those in need. He was very active in church and was a minister for many years. Back in his younger years, he sang in a trio on KVOO radio. James attended True Baptist Church in Sand Springs, OK with his family the last 4 years of his life as his health declined. He was always busy doing what he could for his Lord and Savior and is now singing in the heavenly choir. \r\n\r\nServices for James have been entrusted to Dillon Funeral Service in Sand Springs, OK.
