James Robert Walls

James Robert Walls, 64, of Verdigris, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was born on July 2, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, son of Tommy J. Walls and Ellen Grace Harris Walls. James was employed as safety supervisor by Inserve, a refinery renovation company.
James is survived by one daughter, Amanda Betancourt of Verdigris; two sisters, Ellen Wilcox of Salt Lake City, Utah and Sandra Knight of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two granddaughters, Isabella Olmos and Sofia Betancourt of Verdigris and two grandsons, Junior Olmos and Devin Betancourt of Verdigris. James was proceeded in death by his parents; Tommy J. Walls and Ellen Grace Walls.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home's Legacy Chapel. 1200 North Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
