JD Wolf, 78 of Sand Springs, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017 in Sand Springs with his family by his side. He was born November 4, 1938 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, a son of Grace Marie Seeger Wolf and Orville David Wolf. \r\r\nJD was married to Charlotte Ann Lochner in Rosston, Oklahoma at a Methodist church. The ceremony was performed by a Quaker Minister on April 16, 1960.\r\r\nJD was raised on a farm in Western Oklahoma where he helped farm on the family's farms. He was a man of many words and loved to talk, not ever really meeting a stranger. Later in life he joined the Army Reserves where he served for 6 years. JD, along with others, in their past time, would capture Coyotes and nurse them to health and then place them in Coyote Rodeo's before setting them free back to the wild. JD enjoyed going to his High School Reunion in Rosston, Oklahoma. JD was successful at selling insurance for Western Heritage and then later for Oklahoma Frontier Corporation. During his years of selling insurance, he won a brand new Cadillac Sedan Deville for having the highest sales as well as earning several plaque awards. JD belonged to the Modern Woodman. JD loved to travel, visiting New York, Niagara Falls and would visit his parents in Enid, Oklahoma and Laverne, Oklahoma. He loved traveling with the senior adults from his church and on one eventful trip to Boston he eat three giant lobsters with his wife, Charlotte. He became involved in some multi-level businesses, one being Meadow Fresh of which he was very successful. He was also in the Founders Circle of Pre Paid Legal which later became Legal Shield. He loved to study his Bible and other religious books and was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. M.F. Philback was an inspiring mentor to JD, whom he visited and studied the bible with. \r\r\nJD is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlotte Ann Lochner Wolf of the home; one son, Jeffrey David Wolf and wife Kathy of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Mallory Novell Branch of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one great-granddaughter, Emily Danille Branch of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and one great-grandson, Mason Ryan Branch of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville "Dude" Wolf and Grace Marie Wolf.\r\r\nA time to come see his photos is set for Thursday, February 23, 2017 from Noon - 5:00 p.m. at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063.
