Jeffrey Maynard

–

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of the compassionate and loving Jeffrey Maynard, who left us peacefully on December 1, 2025. Born on January 8, 1956, Jeffrey's life was one marked by empathy, dedication, and a commitment to the things he held dear - faith, family, and friends.

Jeffrey was a man of many passions. He found joy in the tranquility of fishing and boating, the thrill of football - with a special place in his heart for OU, The Chiefs, and The Cowboys. As a yard perfectionist, he found peace in gardening and was always on the lookout for pheasants, reminiscing about his younger hunting days. His love for his grandchildren was unmatched, fondly referred to by them as "Papa J". He was a man of great heart, who was humble, kind, and considerate. His faith in God was unwavering, and his church held a special place in his heart. He was a man of wit, his dry humor could light up a room. Jeffrey's gift of writing touched many lives, sending messages that inspired, uplifted, and comforted. His dedication and perfectionism were his driving forces, making him a dependable figure in all situations.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Cherry, and his sister Pamela. His legacy is carried forward by his adoring wife Lucilla, his sons Colton and Preston, and his daughters Adrieanne and Tayler, his sister Kari, eight beloved grandchildren, and countless extended family members. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16. Jeffrey's life was a testament to this, becoming a man of substance, compassion, and unwavering faith and love.

A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:30am CST at the Thomas Community Church, located at 32702 East 61st Street South, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, 74014. As we remember Jeffrey, we invite you to share your memories and stories on his memorial page. It is in these shared moments that his spirit will continue to live on.
