Jerry Wayne Hunt was born on January 28, 1952 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Harold Wayne and Pauline A. Hunt. He departed from this life on January 11, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.\n\nJerry is survived by his children; Cacey Hunt of Cushing, OK, Candi Hunt and Jack Cook of Cushing, Hanna Dickenson and husband, Jeff of Cushing, Ashley Lewis and Abraham Lincoln of Ripley, OK and Jeremy Lewis of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Savannah Hunt, Adrianna Hunt, Caden Clinton, Remington Dickenson, Lydia Lincoln and Waylonn Lincoln; siblings, Mary Jo Robinson, Sharon McKinney, Paula Dooley and Ray Hunt and several nieces and nephews.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sherrie Lewis and nephew, Layton Hargrove.\n\nJerry grew up and attended school in Fairfax, OK. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard for many years an at one time he was stationed in Germany for a while. He also worked at a grain elevator in Fairfax and anywhere else he was needed. Jerry also enjoyed spending time with his sister and hanging out on the farm. He loved to be outdoors, fishing on the river, mushroom hunting and traveling the back roads while listening to the radio. He also enjoyed talking with his friend LeeBob an watching westerns and college football, especially the Sooners. Jerry loved his family and his grandchildren.
