Joann Horton

Joann Horton, age 64 of Depew, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 in Lake City, Colorado.

Joann was born on March 1, 1950 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to W.P. and Ara (Reese) Weaver. She graduated from Prue High School and married Dean Horton on August 22, 1969 in Turley. She attended the Roberts Beauty College and started working as a Beautician in Sand Springs. Joann later opened her beauty shop in Prue at her home. The couple then moved to Bristow. Joann loved to hunt and shoot archery.

She is survived by her husband Dean Horton of the home, a son Andy Horton of Depew, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents; W.P. and Ara Weaver, a brother Willy Paul Weaver, a sister Patricia Louise Helt.
