John Eatman Copeland Jr.\r\n\r\nBorn September 10, 1943 to John Eatman Sr. and Lola Marie Copeland. John left this life on December 11, 2020 at the age of 77. John Sr. and Lola had two children, John Jr. and Mary. When John grew up he met and married Edna. They would have five children together; Rose, Kay, Johnny, Amy and Joel. John and Edna later divorced. John would then meet and marry Bonnie, they never had children together but Bonnie had Emma Cotzee and Temoc who John loved as his own. \r\n\r\nJohn spent his early years in Sand Springs riding the trolley. He graduated high school from Classen High. After high school he worked for Hoerner Box Factory and Little Debbie Bakery. He was a minister to the deaf at First Baptist Church in Tulsa during 1967. He also performed memorable magic shows throughout the 70's and 80's. He sought his Master and Doctorate degree of Theology during the 90's. In his later years John was a preacher with the American Indian Tribes church in Geary, Oklahoma for about 20 years.\r\n\r\nSome of Johns Hobbies included: Performing magic, printing, studying Theology and American Indian Culture, storytelling, American Indian Dancing and Drumming and playing the piano.\r\n\r\nJohn was preceded in death by: his parents, his Sister Mary, daughter Amy, his wife Bonnie and the mother of his children, Edna.\r\n\r\nJohn is Survived by: His children Rose Salazar-Faulkner and Fiance Ray Faulkner of Sand Springs; Kay and husband Scott Fulfer of Arkansas; John Copeland lll of Sand Springs; and Joel Copeland and wife Cristy of Sand Springs; 2 step children in Arizona. 19 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 nephew. John will be missed by many people.\r\n\r\nFuneral services have been entrusted to Dillon Funeral Service, Sand Springs, OK.
