Kent Sherman Tyler, age 57 of Sand Springs, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at his home.\r\r\n\r\r\nKent was born on November 27, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan to Richard Enoch and Ethel Sylvia (Acres) Tyler. He graduated from Central High School and married Anita Tyler on April 2, 1977 in Tulsa. Kent had worked as a salesman for Estes Incorporated in Tulsa for many years. He was a member of Springdale Baptist church in Tulsa where he sang in the choir and helped with the youth group at church. Kent enjoyed playing softball on the church team.\r\r\n\r\r\nHe is survived by his wife Anita Tyler of the home, three daughters; Jennifer Kupiec of Sand Springs, Mellisa Swigart and husband Jeremy of Sand Springs and Lyndsey Tyler of Sand Springs, a mother; Ethel Tyler of Sand Springs, a brother Keith Tyler of Sand Springs and a sister Regena Hamm of Broken Arrow, also surviving Kent are six grandchildren; Zackary Kupiec, Cassidy Kupiec, Jeremy Swigart II, Aubrey Swigart, Avery Martin and Jayden Martin.\r\r\n\r\r\nKent was preceded in death by his father Richard Tyler, son Christopher cox and a brother Kevin Tyler.
