Lacy Mae McVay was born October 9, 1987, in Tulsa, OK to Tammy Slankard and Scotty McVay. Lacy departed from this earth on December 10, 2020. She is survived by her daughters, Joon Chancy and Sonny Mae Smith; the love of her life, Stuart Mordhorst; mother, Tammy Slankard; sisters, Ashton Willis, Haley Collins, and Amanda Payne; niece, Crossly Willis; nephew, Carter Willis and Liam Fort. She is preceded in death by her father, Scotty McVay; grandmother Joyce Glassco; grandmother, Joann McAlister; grandfather, Curtis McVay; great grandfather, Jay Harris; and her very favorite person; her great grandmother, Georgia Harris. She will be missed by many family, friends, and loved ones. She touched the lives of all who knew her.\r\nLacy was a free spirit, guided by the wind and nobody could tell her how to live. She could make the best of any situation and was loved by so many. She was an amazing athlete, the best caregiver, and a wonderful mother to her two girls. She was a faithful friend who cherished every single one of her friendships in her lifetime. She was an amazing cook, loved to paint, and was always down for a wild adventure. She saw the good in every single person that she came across; she never met a stranger. She was a peace maker; always wanting everyone to be happy. She was simply one of a kind. In a world where everyone tried to fit in, Lacy chose to stand out! As she leaves behind her two young girls, one thing is for certain, is that she is so proud of them and loved being their Mom!
