Larry Howard Helscel

Larry Helscel departed this life on March 19th, 2021 at his home in Kellyville, Oklahoma. He was born on August 1st, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to Ivan and Dorothy (Shouse) Helscel.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Helscel, of the home in Kellyville, OK. 2 step-children: Mark Field of Sand Springs, OK and Sheryl Field of Sand Springs, OK. 3 siblings: Buddy Helscel of Arizona, Sally Johnson of Tulsa, OK and Dottie McBroom of Tulsa, OK.

Larry grew up and attended school in Tulsa, OK later being drafted into the United States Army and serving 2 years in Vietnam. He enjoyed several hobbies throughout his lifetime including carving, art and painting. Larry also loved to experiment.

Services for Larry have been entrusted to Dillon Funeral Service in Sand Springs, OK.
