Layton Gene Hargrove was born on September 14, 2014 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Amy and Joe Hargrove. Layton was five years old and attended Pre K at Jennings Public School. On Monday March 23, 2020 Layton went to be with his Lord at his home in Jennings, Oklahoma. \r\n\r\nLayton loved to be outdoors driving his trucks, fishing and camping. Layton always looked forward to going to his siblings sporting events and mostly loved flirting with the Pawnee cheerleaders. Layton loved riding horses and participating in play days at the Kellyville Round Up Club and being around his family and friends. He was always sure to have a big smile, he loved life and was a very happy little boy. Over the past few weeks Layton has cherished his trips with his mom and siblings to Braum's for a frozen twist ice cream cone in honor of his grandma Sherrie. \r\n\r\nLayton was preceded in death by his grandparents Larry and Sherrie Lewis of Yale, OK, Darrell McKinney of Fairfax, OK. Great grandparents; Harold and Pauline Hunt of Fairfax, OK, Claude and Francis Lewis of Yale, OK, Virgil and Rhoda McKinney of Fairfax, OK, Leonard "Red" Hargrove of Hot Springs, AR, and Louis Hargrove of Tulsa, OK. Layton is survived by; his mother Amy Hargrove of Jennings, OK, and father Joe Hargrove of Kellyville, OK. His siblings; Hailey, Hayden and Logan Hargrove all of Jennings, OK. His grandparents; Harold and Chauree Cundiff of Perkins, OK, Dub and Coryl Hargrove of Pryor, OK. Many family and friends.\r\n\r\nLayton will be missed but never forgotten by his loving family and friends. His smile and laughs will always be remembered fondly and his memories will be cherished forever.
