Loretta Eugene Selph

Loretta Selph, age 87 of Sand Springs, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Sand springs.

Loretta was born on April 4, 1927 in Poteau, Oklahoma to W.A. and Louise (Cheek) McCoy. She graduated from McAlester High School and married Carlton F. Selph on September 5, 1946 in McAlester. The couple moved to the Sand Springs area in 1954. Loretta was president of the Parent Teachers Association while her children were in school but most of the time she was a homemaker. She loved having parties, feeding her family and guest. Loretta loved her family most of all, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband Carlton F. Selph preceded her in death on January 30, 1996.

She is survived by her son; Jack Selph and wife Jackie of Sand Springs, a daughter; Linda Younger and husband Jim of Sand Springs, five grandchildren; Greg Younger of Tulsa, Kyle Younger of Tulsa, Erin Ruth kastler and husband Shane of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Casey Selph and wife Kayla of Broken Arrow, Robbie Selph and wife Denisa of Broken Arrow. Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
