Mary Lou Dickerson, age 103, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Sand Springs. \r\r\n \r\r\nMary was born on January 10, 1909 in West Plains, Missouri to Samuel Bradley and Sarah Alice (Gale) Henry. She grew up in Liberty Mounds were she attended school. Mary and her family moved to the Sand Springs area and later married Roy Dickerson. She went to work for TG&Y Department Stores in Sand Springs were she was the Assistant Manager. Mary later became a full time Homemaker to be with her family. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, Hand crafts and gardening. \r\r\nMary was of the Church of Christ faith. \r\r\n \r\r\nMary is survived by her son Sam Dickerson and wife Phyllis of Sand Springs, a daughter Jewell Hartung and husband Marvin of Sand Springs, three grandchildren Michael Dickerson and wife Carrie of Sand Springs, Becky Wickett and husband Delbert of Cleveland, Joe Hartung and wife Joyce of Owasso, also surviving are six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. \r\r\n \r\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Dickerson in (1967) four brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter Carolyn Hoipkemier.
