Michael Lee Daniel Carlisle, age 42 of Sand Springs, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Tulsa.\r\r\n\r\r\nMichael was born on January 3, 1972 in Tulsa to Danny and Wilma (Lamproe) Carlisle. He graduated from Charles Page High School and then graduated College at the Phoenix Art Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Michael worked as a Welder for over 18 years at various jobs with his last place of employment being Inserve in Tulsa. He was very creative and talented and was an artist in different mediums including metalwork, painting, poetry, and music. Michael loved being outdoors and frequently enjoyed fishing and camping. He led a life of a "simple man". Michael had also obtained his license in the ministry and had found a life walking with Christ.\r\r\n\r\r\nHe is survived by his parents, Danny and Wilma Carlisle of Sand Springs, a daughter; Lily Dulcinea of the home, 2 brothers; Steven Carlisle of Sand Springs, Jesse Carlisle and wife Takeshia Pride of Sand Springs, maternal grandmother; Virginia Lamproe of Sand Springs, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Also surviving Michael was beloved dog, Olive.\r\r\n\r\r\nMichael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Matthew Lamproe and paternal grandparents; Champ & Jo Carlisle and his beloved dog, Do-little.\r\r\n\r\r\nMichael's spirit lives on in his daughter Lily. She was his world. His memory will be honored through Lily's PaPa, Granny, and Uncle Steve and Uncle Jesse as they continue Michael's wishes in caring for Lily.
