Michael Hooker

Michael Hooker 68, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on October 31, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital. Michael was born August 11, 1948 to Donald and Waunita Hull Hooker, in Independence, Kansas. Michael served in the Army during the Vietnam War. His service was very honorable and would have an effect on his life for years to come. Among other things, Michael had a pool cleaning business. The Family has good memories of the time spent with Michael and remembering what a wonderful person he had been.
He is Survived by two sons, Micah Maledon and wife Amanda of Coweta and Jesse Hooker and wife Emily of Tulsa; one daughter, Melissa Maledon of Tulsa; two brothers, Russell Hooker of Lakewood, Colorado and Stephen Hooker of Borger, Texas; and six grandchildren, Micah Jr., Nathan, Luke, DJ, Michaela and Douglas. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and sister Nancy.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 in the Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home Chapel located at 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma with Rev. Nick Garland officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, also located at 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
