Michael H. Ogden

Michael H. Ogden, 70 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his residence in Tulsa. He was born June 19, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to the late Mildred Larry Harris Ogden and Frank Lester Ogden. Mike worked in maintenance for the water department for many years.

Mike was a dedicated family man that enjoyed history, playing the slots, fishing, and ALL things alien. More than anything else in the world, he was proud of his roll as Pepa. Mike deeply loved his children, and shared a special bond with each of his grandchildren. While he had 5 children, there are many more that would consider him like a father, because he loved as profoundly as he lived.

Mike is survived by his life partner, Shelly Dyson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sons, Jason Ogden of Berryhill, Oklahoma, Kyle Ogden of Saint Jo, Texas, and Kevin McClaran of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two daughters, Tammie Ogden of Texas and Kristal Briggs of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank Ogden.

A viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home's Legacy Chapel, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063. Attire will be casual.
