Millie Jean Barbour

Millie Jean Barbour was born July 11, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to Clarence and Stella (Newby) Hall. She passed away on October 27, 2022 in Tulsa, OK.

Millie grew up in Sand Springs and attended Charles Page High School. She later married Billy Leon Barbour on December 19, 1958, in Claremore, OK. Millie was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed bowling, coaching softball and you could find her at bingo at least four days a week. She also loved bald eagles. Millie worked for Hissom in Sand Springs, OK.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Barbour; her daughter, Sandy Pope; and her son, Randy Barbour.

She is survived by her son, Billy Barbour and wife, Donna Lasson of Sand Springs; her sister, Sue Flinchum of Mannford; and son-in-law, Rusty Pope; grandchildren, Casey Barbour, Dustin Pope and wife, Kristen and Ashlie Pope; great grandchildren, Saleen, Anthony, Demarko, Taysha and Codi, Graycie, Chloe, and Rustyn, Kaden, Maddox, Zander and Bryson.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford, OK. Services are under the direction of Dillon Funeral Service and condolences may be shared at www.dilloncares.com
