Virginia Lee (Dover) Lamproe peacefully entered Heavens gates on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 82. She was born September 18, 1932 in Chester, Arkansas.\r\r\nShe was a loving mother and homemaker. Virginia always thought of others and never met a stranger. In doing so, her door was always open and all were welcomed in. One could not leave her home without feeling as if they were part of her family and she always insisted they sit and eat. She was known for her amazing garden and her beans and cornbread.\r\r\nKnown as a hard worker, Virginia worked and retired at Hissom Memorial after 16 years of service. \r\r\nVirginia is survived by her nine children. Son Jimmy and wife Faye of Sand Springs, Son Carl and wife Donna of Sand Springs, Daughter Wilma and husband Danny Carlisle of Sand Springs, Daughter Velma and husband Curtis Davis of Sand Springs, Daughter Bonnie and husband Norman Holt of Pawnee, Son Joe and Harriet Rich of Broken Arrow, Son Matthew and wife Teresa of Tulsa, Daughter Donna Kelley of Sand Springs; Daughter Linda and husband Greg Wilson of Sand Springs; as well as 28 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren. Virginia is proceeded in death by her mother Esther Searett Dover and father Eugene Dover, 4 brothers and 1 sister and one grandson Michael Carlisle.\r\r\nFuneral Service will be at Dillon Legacy Chapel at Woodland Memorial Cemetery in Sand Springs, Ok. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday February 10th, 2015 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with the family to greet from 6pm to 8pm.
