Nancy Lee "Joyce" White Hill, passed away in Kernersville, North Carolina with family by her side on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the age of 90.\r\nArrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Dillon Marler Dighton Funeral Home in Sand Springs. A graveside service is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs.\r\nJoyce was born on May 21, 1927 in Media, Texas to William Cotten and Clara (Moak) Cotten. She grew up in Media, Texas and later moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma which she and her husband Bill Ray White owned and operated the White's Fridged Cream Drive-In on 10th street in the 60's and 70's. She also, worked in the medical field as a home healthcare provider for 18 years. \r\nJoyce loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a great mother and grandmother. She loved spending Christmas with family and was very good at making Christmas bows. She loved going to church and playing the organ in church.\r\nShe is survived by one daughter, Marsha Elliott and husband John of Naples, Florida; one son, David White and wife Lisa of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; three granddaughters, Shana Elliott Kirtley of Knoxville, Tennessee, Megan White Mitchell of Jamestown, North Carolina and Mikayla White of Walnut Cove, North Carolina and three great-grandchildren, Calvin, Alex and Avery.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara (Moak) Cotten and her husband, Bill Ray White.
