Navada Reed Obituary (1938 - 2024) - Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Navada Faye Reed: A Life Devoted to Faith and Family It would be early on March 13, 1938. Vera and Willie Ross would find themselves with a fine young daughter. Navada Faye Ross. Destiny was to be her wardrobe. She would spend her adult years helping the needy. Destiny would be written all over that young lady. She would be instrumental in robbing Hell of its citizens. It would be under the anointing of the Holy Ghost that she would sing the songs of Zion. The angels would walk the isles as this Arkansas girl would yield herself in obedience to God. It would be June 1, 1956, when she would stand beside the man she loved, Don Reed. They would join hearts and hands as they would walk into the rising sun for over 67 years. They would pastor six churches as they would marry the young and bury the dead. Don and Faye made four trips to Africa. Eternity will declare the souls that were won to the Lord. Their first-born son, Jerry Don Reed was born on March 14, 1957, in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Jerry was to challenge the devil on his own turf. On April 17, 1961, their son Michael Lee Reed would join the little family. He would carry this gospel to the recesses of the world and has established many churches in Uganda Africa. Faye passed away peacefully with her husband and family by her side on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. She was 86 years old. Faye was proceeded in death by her father, Willie Ross and her mother, Vera Taylor Ross. Her sister Emma Jean Ross Blair and husband Tom Blair and her brother, Willie Ray Ross. Faye was survived by her husband, Don Reed of Sand Springs, son, Jerry & Gina Reed of Bixby and Mike & Nina Reed of Sand Springs. Faye was blessed with many beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 6:00 pm CDT at Dillon Funeral Service, located at 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm CDT at Harvest Church, 1601 West 4th Street, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm CDT at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
