Norvin Kenneth Langston passed from this life after a long battle with cancer at St. John hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79. \r\nKen was born on June 4th, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lester and Delphia Langston. He attended Central High School and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He married Joyce Evans, his wife of 62 years. He retired after 34 years from Sheffield Steel where he worked as an electrician. He was an active and dedicated member of Pretty Water Free Will Baptist Church in Sapulpa. \r\nKen is survived by wife Joyce of the home, brothers Herbert Langston of Broken Arrow and Paul Langston of Bixby; children, Lynne Graves and husband Mike of Sand Springs. Son Christopher Langston of Berryhill. Grandchildren Dawn Helmuth of Sand Springs. Adam Graves and wife Monica, of Sand Springs. Jordan Langston of Berryhill and Cailin Langston of Broken Arrow. Great grandchildren Samantha, Kennedy, Pippin, and Kylee. He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Delphia and brother Harlon Langston.\r\nA celebration of life is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at Pretty Water Freewill Baptist Church, with a graveside service to follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Pastor Everette Walrath will officiate the services. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ken's life. Services have been entrusted to Dillon Funeral Service.
