Rev. Chantal Kendelu Mutiri Obituary (1969 - 2014)

Reverend Chantal Kendelu Mutiri, age 46, of Sand Springs, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2014. She was born March 27, 1969 to Antoine Kingombe and Sakina Jeanne Kayumba in Bukavu, Republic of the Congo. She grew up and graduated from Lysee Kilimali and later earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition from ISTEM in Kinshasa Congo. Chantal used her degree to rehabilitate malnourished orphans, often taking it upon herself to singlehandedly prepare and distribute meals in the slums of Nairobi. Upon moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1998 she co-pastored a church with her husband of fourteen years while raising five daughters. Chantal moved to Sand Springs with her four younger daughters in 2012. She was an effervescent force of life and vitality, who spent her life investing her time and love to her children. She is survived by five daughters; Sandra, Faith, Grace, Gloria, and Victoria Mutiri. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to her daughters at the Bank of America, 7110 S.
