Richard Bacon

–

Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Richard Lee Bacon was born on October 24, 1966 in Tulsa, OK to Benny Lee Bacon and Wilma Jean (Harris) Bacon. He passed away on February 8, 2024 at his home in Sand Springs, OK at the age of 57 years.

Richie graduated from Charles Page High School in 1985. He was a well-respected drywall contractor by profession and a mechanic by hobby. He could always be found in his garage working on his cars and dirt bikes. Richie lived in the same home for the majority of his life and was always eager to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. In return, his neighbors and friends were a blessing to him when he fell ill and could no longer accomplish the things that were once second nature to him.

Richie had no biological siblings; however, he has many (too many to name) friends that consider him a brother and he is an uncle to all of their children. Richie was loved by all who knew him and that love was returned immensely.

Richie was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Charlie F. and Julie E. Finley, his grandparents, Alta V. and Mack W. Harris and Jess and Ola Bacon, his mother, Wilma, in 1992 and his father, Benny, in 2005.
