River Gale Ross joined her family in Heaven on January 30, 2021. In her short four years, River became known for her nurturing and caring nature. Age, relationship or even species could not squelch the love River showed for others. This shone brightly in the care she gave to her younger sister, older siblings, and the many animals she adored. River was the very best helper anyone could ask for. Whether playing with playdoh, doting on Piper, dancing, or snuggling, River exuded joy, care, and love. Where most kids have dread, River thoroughly enjoyed school. That's how completely River loved life. It is these qualities that will be missed and cherished most greatly by those who were blessed to know and be known by her. River is preceded in death by her sister, Piper Ross; mother, Staci Smith; father, Phillip Ross; maternal grandparents, Margie Ward and Dean Grant. River is survived by 3 Siblings; Kurt Grant, Tyler Smith, and Sydney Smith; Great-Grandmother, Betty Gross; Grandma Ghee Ghee, Debbi Ross; 3 Great-Aunts, Kathy Gross, Wendy Woodworth, and Carol Gross; Uncle, Allen Woodworth; 3 Cousins, Josh Woodworth, Beth James, and Presley James; and an extended number of loved ones.
