Robert Pesnell

Robert Neil Pesnell born to A.B. And Claire Mae Pesnell on April 23, 1940 in Arab, Alabama.

Bob served in the US Army in Germany. He married the love of his life, Delores Jean Phillips on June 24, 1960.

He loaded logs for a living in a minute and a half. He was the Best around!

In his spare time he tinkered with vehicles and sold them so he could have a lil rat hole money he called it! But the real joy for both Bob and Delores was singing southern gospel music!

Bob met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his lovely bride, Delores, at the river they had sung about for so long on December 16, 2025 at 10:32 pm very peacefully. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Mom and Dad, (AB & Claire Pesnell), sister, Jessie Ruth and brother Marlin Pesnell.

Bob is survived by daughter, Teresa Kaye, sons, Rodney Neil, and John Eric, grandson, Steve Robinett and wife Jessica, granddaughters, Codi Kaye, Ashley Ward and husband David, grandsons Levi Pesnell, Seth Harrison and Colton Pesnell. Along with 9 great grands!

He loved leading songs in church, he rarely failed to say “God is good” and expected to hear the congregation say …. “and all the time, God is good!”
