Ruthy M Stevens Obituary (1937

Ruthy Mae (Smith) Stevens, age 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 19, 2016 at her home. Ruthy was born October 4, 1937 to Duane and Ruthy (Worthington) Smith, Ruthy married William T. Stevens on November 17, 1962 at the First Baptist Church in Tulsa. Ruthy had worked a registrar for over 30 years and finished her employment at Byrd middle school. She always commented that she did not have a creative bone in her body; she was a talented, creative individual in her duties as a registrar. She was a loving mother and wife, she loved the color of pink, she was not an individual that like to draw attention to herself. She loved to get recipes off of Facebook, and work crossword puzzles. She loved taking care of newborn babies in the Church nursery for over 40 years. She is survived by her husband William T, Stevens of the home, two sons: William Allen Stevens of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Brian Andrew Stevens of Amarillo Texas, one daughter: Karen Sue Stevens of Plano, Texas, two grandchildren: Coy Andrew Stevens, Dakota James Stevens. She was preceded in death by her parents, one: brother, three: sisters, and an infant son Duane Maurice Stevens.
