Sandra Dobyns

Sandra Ann Dobyns, born in the small town of Van Alstyne, Texas, on January 27, 1955 to Bill Davis and Zula Chandler passed from her earthly life on January 12, 2024 at her home in Tulsa, OK. Sandra was a woman known for her warm, caring heart and the love she had for those around her.

Sandra dedicated herself to creating a home that was always filled with love and warmth. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of comfort, not just for her beloved husband, Steven Dobyns, but for all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Sandra especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed watching Blue Bloods and Law and Order on television. Sightseeing was also something Sandra enjoyed in her spare time.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Bill Davis and mother, Zula Thorpe; sister Debbie Lee; brother, Steve Burris; and stepdad, Donald Thorpe.

She leaves behind her husband, Steven Dobyns of the home; daughter, Jennifer Nagel and husband, Tony; and grandchildren, Cornel Harjo, Joshua Harjo, and Anna Harjo as well as a community of friends.

A service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held on Friday, 19 Jan 2024 at 2:00pm CST at Legacy Chapel, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, 74063.
