Sandra Henderson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Sue Henderson, who was born on August 17, 1951, in Tulsa, OK, and departed from us on August 26, 2024. Sandra, a lifelong resident of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, was a beacon of warmth, laughter, and love in the lives of all those she touched.

Sandra, a proud graduate of Sand Springs High School class of 1969, was a woman of many talents and interests. She dedicated her professional life to the care of others, working as a Nurse Aide in Home Health and Kerr Glass. Sandra had a remarkable affinity for life; she loved working with flowers, playing guitar and piano, and was known for her infectious humor. She was the kind of person who never met a stranger, with a heart so big that it had room for everyone. Sandra's caring nature extended to a deep love for praying for others, a testament to her altruistic spirit. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she enjoyed nothing more than being silly, bringing joy, and creating lasting memories with them.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Clisby and Joyce Grayson, and her twin sister, Linda Bryant. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Leslie Henderson of Sand Springs, OK, and her brother, Vernon Grayson, also of Sand Springs, OK. Sandra's legacy also lives on in her cherished nieces, Andrea Dickinson of Tulsa, OK, Crystal Gloyd of Sand Springs, OK, Cindy Lawson of Sand Springs, OK, and Erica Grayson of Tulsa, OK.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 5:00pm CDT at Dillon Funeral Service, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, 74063. A funeral service to celebrate Sandra's life will follow on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00pm CDT at the same location. As per Sandra's love for life, the service will be a celebration of the love, laughter, and warmth she brought into this world.
