Sharyn Woods

Sharyn Marie Woods, born on March 12, 1941 in Bristow, OK, passed on March 25, 2025. She resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma where her home was a beacon of love and Lebanese culture. A lover of road trips and travel, Sharyn's spirit found joy in exploration and in bringing her loved ones together for memorable celebrations.

Sharyn was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, her love for her family was her life's work. Her joy was found in the laughter and hugs of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the beloved matriarch of a large family, her love and guidance acted as a compass to them. Her home was always filled with the aroma of Lebanese cuisine, the sound of laughter, and an abundance of love. Maya Angelou once said, "I sustain myself with the love of family," and Sharyn was the epitome of this sentiment.

Sharyn is survived by her children Doug Woods, Denise and husband Drake Carroll, her brother Bob Elias and wife Judy. Her grandchildren Paige and husband Dereck Stephens, Katelyn Woods, Kelsy Carroll, Analise Nauman, Rachel Nauman, Alaina Nauman, and her great-grandchildren Beckett and Beau Stephens, Logyn and Lemry Halowell and Aurora Hayley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adele and Kareem Elias, her beloved husband Harley Woods, her sister Teresa Elias, her daughter Deanna Nauman, and her grandchildren Breanna Nauman and Cole Carroll.

A service to celebrate Sharyn's life will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Dillon Funeral Service, 1200 North Cleveland Avenue, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, 74063. The family requests that all who knew and loved Sharyn gather to share stories, laughter, and tears in her honor.
